This is my 2nd subscription ,that my daughter joined for me. After receiving the Doris correspondence I just had to continue with Lily's letters. It has been an absolute delight to receive The Tea Room Diaries each month, and to learn more about the history of the time. It made me feel closer to my own mother as she would have been the same age and I could imagine her working and enjoying life in a similar manner. I visited the Block Arcade on a recent trip to Melbourne which further enhanced my experience of Doris and Lily's world. I have also appreciated the little extras along the way. Thank you.

I am from the junk journal world and when I saw these letters I just had to have them. I read a review and blow me down if it wasn't from a friend. We are both in aged care Lifestyle in different states and had the same idea to read the letters to our residents. Well, they love them as much as I do to the point we run a special high tea plus I make ephemera to go along with the storyline. Once we finish Lily's story we will definitely move to the next. These letters have made many lonely people very happy, even my memory support residents stop their behaviours and listen which is pretty amazing.
